Thomas Edward Brooks, 62, passed away peacefully after a brief illness. Tom enjoyed camping, boating, and spending weekends with family. He was remembered for his quiet strength, dependable nature, and infectious laugh.

 

He is survived by his wife, three children, six grandchildren, and many close friends.

 

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Lakeside Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon immediately following the service.

Patricia Ann Reynolds

November 30, 1948 – July 20, 2026

 

Patricia Ann Reynolds, 77, passed away peacefully with family by her side. Patricia spent many years as an educator and inspired countless students throughout her career. She loved reading, baking, and traveling with her family.

 

She is survived by her husband, one son, one daughter, five grandchildren, and several cherished friends.

 

A private family service will be held, followed by a public celebration of life at a later date.

Daniel Michael Harper

May 4, 1975 – July 21, 2026

 

Daniel Michael Harper, 51, passed away unexpectedly. Dan was known for his positive outlook, love of classic cars, and willingness to lend a helping hand to neighbors and friends.

 

He leaves behind his wife, two daughters, parents, siblings, and many extended family members.

 

Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00–7:00 p.m. with funeral services Friday morning at 10:00 a.m.


Eleanor Jean Carter

January 18, 1936 – July 26, 2026

 

Eleanor Jean Carter, 90, entered eternal rest after a long and fulfilling life. She loved tending her flower gardens, quilting, and spending time with her family during holidays.

 

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many lifelong friends.

 

A celebration of life will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at First Community Church. The family welcomes friends for a reception immediately following the service.

Robert Allen Whitmore

September 8, 1958 – July 22, 2026

 

Robert Allen Whitmore, 67, passed away after a courageous battle with illness. Robert enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and cheering on his favorite hometown sports teams. His generosity and sense of humor touched everyone who knew him.

 

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, two sons, one daughter, and four grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Memorial Gardens.

Margaret "Maggie" Lawson

March 12, 1942 – July 24, 2026

 

Margaret "Maggie" Lawson, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Maggie dedicated much of her life to volunteering in her community and was known for her warm smile, homemade pies, and unwavering kindness.

 

She is survived by her three children, seven grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Harmony Community Church. Visitation begins one hour prior to the service.
